Usability Testing of New UI

Medical Device

At Roche, I was part of the UX team conducting both formative and summative usability testing for the Blood Gas Analyzer 123. In the formative stage, we tested early UI concepts with clinical staff to optimize workflows and reduce complexity. The summative phase involved validating critical tasks with representative users in simulated hospital settings to ensure the design met FDA usability and safety standards. My role involved prototype iteration, observation scripting, and user behavior analysis to ensure safe and intuitive interactions under time-critical conditions
